Prevent Child Abuse Colorado works to address the unique needs of Colorado's families as we strive together to provide an encouraging and supportive environment in which children can grow into healthy and engaged members of society.
- Further public understanding of the issue and engage Colorado's citizens in the effort to prevent child abuse and neglect before it ever occurs,
- Further statewide communication about prevention activities, and
- Identify and assist in the creation of effective early childhood, early intervention, family support, and child abuse and neglect prevention programs.

The National Movement for America’s Children is a fast-growing grassroots movement of organizations, businesses, leaders and people nationwide who believe that the well-being and healthy development of our children is critical to our success as a nation. The economic future and stability of the communities where we live and work depends greatly on achieving this goal. The major objective of the Movement for America’s Children is to awaken a true social movement for children and deliver a holistic national strategy -- to prevent child abuse and neglect from ever occurring and to ensure the healthy development of each and every child.
